Gelatide Ingredients List: The Six Names on the Label, Explained

Quick answer

The Gelatide ingredients list names six: green tea leaf extract, guarana seed extract, African mango seed extract, Coleus forskohlii root extract, capsicum annuum fruit extract and raspberry ketones. Five are plant extracts, from a leaf, two seeds, a root and a fruit. The sixth is the aroma compound of red raspberries. Two of the six, guarana and green tea, carry caffeine.

Below: each ingredient in plain words, where it comes from, what its research used and the one caution that goes with it.

The short version
  • Six names. Green tea leaf, guarana seed, African mango seed, Coleus forskohlii root, capsicum annuum fruit and raspberry ketones.
  • Two caffeine sources. Guarana seed is the main one, and green tea leaf normally adds some.
  • One liquid. All six come in every dropper, which is why the label says shake well before each use.
  • Research doses are the studies’ own. The Supplement Facts panel on your bottle is the figure to set beside them.

The Gelatide ingredients list at a glance

The front of every Gelatide bottle carries the brand, three support lines, the words DIETARY SUPPLEMENT and 2 oz (60 mL). The seller’s INSIDE GELATIDE card names the six ingredients behind those lines, and the same six appear on the label.

Because Gelatide is a liquid, every dropper carries all six at once. Extracts settle in a liquid, so the directions open with “shake well before each use”. A shaken bottle gives an even draw. The full card set is on the Gelatide ingredients page.

Green tea leaf and guarana seed: the caffeine pair

Green tea leaf extract is the catechin source. It has the deepest research record of the six. A meta-analysis of fifteen trials and 1,243 people found that catechins taken with caffeine trimmed about 1.4 kg of body weight and about 2 cm of waist, while catechins without caffeine showed no benefit. The authors called the effect modest. The caution: concentrated green tea extract is best taken with food, not on an empty stomach. Our post on green tea extract and the liver explains why.

Guarana seed extract is the clearest caffeine source in the bottle. In a 2024 crossover trial, 500 mg of guarana extract carried 130 mg of caffeine. For scale, MedlinePlus puts an 8-ounce cup of coffee at 95 to 200 mg. Caffeine peaks in the blood within an hour and can be felt for four to six hours, so morning is the sensible time for the drops.

Together, these two make Gelatide a caffeine-bearing supplement. Count the drops alongside your coffee, tea and energy drinks.

African mango seed and Coleus forskohlii root

African mango seed extract comes from the seed of Irvingia gabonensis. A 2013 systematic review found three small randomised trials. All reported lower weight and waist, and all had flaws in how their methods were reported, so the review judged the effect unproven. Headache and difficulty sleeping were the side effects it found reported.

Coleus forskohlii root extract supplies forskolin. The trial most often cited is from 2005: thirty overweight men took 250 mg of a 10 percent forskolin extract twice a day for twelve weeks, and their body fat percentage fell against placebo. A trial in 23 women at the same dose found no significant change in fat mass. Our post on the forskolin trials sets them side by side, with a 2026 trial added.

Capsicum annuum fruit and raspberry ketones

Capsicum annuum fruit extract is the chilli extract, and the one ingredient with a human digestion trial behind it. In a small double-blind trial, adults took 2.5 g of red pepper powder a day before meals for five weeks, and their symptom scores fell by about 60 percent, against under 30 percent on placebo. Warmth in the mouth or stomach is capsicum’s expected side, and taking the drops with food softens it. Capsicum and digestion walks through that trial week by week.

Raspberry ketones are the aroma compound that gives red raspberries their scent. A 2021 review describes cell and rodent studies and notes the lack of reliable human research. It is the least studied name on the list, and the fair way to read it is as a supporting ingredient, not the lead.

How the six ingredients line up with the label

The label prints three support lines, and each has a lead ingredient among the six:

  • Supports Healthy Digestion lines up with capsicum, the ingredient with the digestion trial.
  • Boosts Fat Metabolism lines up with green tea catechins taken with caffeine, plus Coleus forskohlii.
  • Natural Appetite Control lines up with capsicum again: pooled trials found capsaicinoids before a meal trimmed about 74 kcal from that meal.

Guarana carries the caffeine that the green tea findings depended on, and African mango and raspberry ketones round out the formula. For what to expect and when, see how long Gelatide takes.

Reading the Gelatide ingredients against your bottle

Every research dose in this post belongs to its study, not to the bottle. The Supplement Facts panel on your bottle declares what a serving holds, and its figures are the ones to set beside the trials. Watch the unit. The capsicum digestion trial measured a whole red pepper powder by the gram, while the appetite trials measured capsaicinoids by the milligram.

Then judge the drops the way the research was run: daily, for weeks, against a note of how you felt at the start. Shake the bottle, take one or two full droppers a day, and start on one if you are sensitive to caffeine. The label page shows what the bottle prints, and the side effects page covers who should ask a pharmacist first.

Gelatide ingredients: questions

How many ingredients are in Gelatide?

Six are named: green tea leaf extract, guarana seed extract, African mango seed extract, Coleus forskohlii root extract, capsicum annuum fruit extract and raspberry ketones.

Does Gelatide contain caffeine?

Yes. Guarana seed extract is a caffeine source, and green tea leaf extract normally carries some as well. Count the drops alongside your coffee and tea, and take them in the morning.

Is Coleus forskohlii the same as forskolin?

Coleus forskohlii is the plant. Forskolin is the compound its root supplies. The 2005 trials used a root extract standardised to 10 percent forskolin.

Health note

Gelatide is a dietary supplement for healthy adults 18 and over. It is not for anyone pregnant or nursing. Guarana carries caffeine and green tea leaf normally adds some, so count the drops with your coffee and tea. If you take any medicine, talk to a doctor or pharmacist before the first dropper.
